Growing up in a small rural town, in the Central Australian desert (look at the map index under ‘middle of nowhere’ you may well locate it) I always knew I would travel.
We travelled from a very young age.. to the next town -600km, the specialist doctor -1500km, for a swim in fresh water -250km, to the beach -1500km, to the national pony club championships -2660km, to a dire straits concert -1500km, vacations to see the grandparents -2257km ..getting the picture..
On planes, trains, automobiles, trucks, helicopters, motorbikes and boats I have travelled the entire coast of Australia and zig zagged across the nation, north to south and east to west. And when a desire to explore new cultures and foreign shores came, I began a global adventure… and am still on it !!
Six years ago in Goa I was introduced to the most adorable soul. We have spent a few years globetrotting and another few years creating a business and working our asses. We got married, travelled a little more and have now returned to his beloved Tel Aviv to create our life, home and family together.
I am delighted with my destiny. I couldnt be happier if I tried. Life is wonderful for me in Tel Aviv.
Many tell me I am living in a bubble. Well If this is what living in a bubble is like, then so be it … I am living in a bubble. What to do? Its a wonderful experience!
And one thing is for sure… I am fast becoming Addicted to Tel Aviv. Thank you Israel, nice welcome.
