Growing up in a small rural town, in the Central Australian desert (look at the map index under ‘middle of nowhere’ you may well locate it)  I always knew I would travel.

We travelled from a very young age.. to the next town -600km, the specialist doctor -1500km, for a swim in fresh water -250km, to the beach -1500km, to the national pony club championships  -2660km, to a dire straits concert -1500km,  vacations to see the grandparents -2257km ..getting the picture..

On planes, trains, automobiles, trucks, helicopters, motorbikes and boats I have travelled the entire coast of Australia and zig zagged across the nation,  north to south and east to west.  And in 1991 when a desire to explore new cultures and  foreign shores rose,  I  began my global adventure… and am still on it !!

Tel Aviv became home in 2007 and I absolutely love her!  I love her people, her streets,  her  energy, her  madness,  her melting pot of cultures, her beaches, her music scene, her endless choice of restaurants, the list goes on and on…

She is one amazing place ! She drives me crazy sometimes, but I cannot think of any other  place I would rather call home.

As an english speaker, its sometimes frustrating to try and get information on all the interesting things going on in the city, so I began this blog to share the treasures I discover along my way. I hope you find some of it interesting.
